The Ballistic Wall is engineered for high-impact resistance using a proprietary ceramic composite matrix. Internal air pockets are filled with sand or pea gravel to absorb and dissipate energy from gunshots and ballistic projectiles.
Each wall system is manufactured to meet or exceed Underwriters Laboratory (UL) 752 Level 8 standards, ensuring protection against high-velocity threats.
For enhanced security, our walls can be further reinforced to achieve UL 752 Level 10, capable of withstanding direct hits from powerful 50-caliber rounds, safeguarding critical assets in even the most demanding environments. Ballistic Wall systems are available in permanent or deployable configurations to meet both long-term site protection and temporary project needs.
Ballistic Wall systems require minimal maintenance and are engineered to hold up in harsh operating environments — from extreme cold to severe weather exposure, with demonstrated resilience against seismic activity, including back-to-back 6.0+ magnitude earthquakes. Panels are field-repairable, allowing damaged sections to be addressed on-site without requiring full wall replacement. Panels carry an expected service life of approximately 100 years, giving your operation long-term protection without frequent upkeep or replacement cycles.
Ballistic Panel Verified to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 752 Level 8 in Independent Lab Test
CSSI engaged a private ballistic testing laboratory to evaluate the ballistic performance of our standard panel. Testing was conducted in accordance with UL Standard 752, Level 8, which the panel successfully passed.
During testing, five rounds were fired from a distance of 15 feet (4.5 meters), all concentrated within a 1-foot by 1-foot (0.3 m × 0.3 m) area of the panel to assess performance under localized, high-impact conditions.
For applications requiring higher levels of ballistic protection, our systems can be engineered to meet more demanding threat requirements.
